Salesperson Licensing Course for Nova Scotia?
The Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission (NSREC) has introduced a new Salesperson Licensing Course (SLC) to enhance education and ensure higher standards of knowledge and professionalism in the real estate industry. This course was developed after reviewing licensing education from other provinces, gathering industry feedback, and consulting with the NSREC’s Education Committee and the NSAR’s Education Department. The new SLC offers more comprehensive material on practical aspects of real estate trading, better preparing licensees for work in the industry.
Course Options and Logistics
Classroom Course
– Duration: 16 weeks
– Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9 AM – 4 PM
– Location: 68 Highfield Park Drive
– Tuition: $4,023.85 (including tax and textbook)
– Upcoming dates:
– March 10 – June 25, 2025
– September 8 – December 19, 2025
Online Course
– Duration: 6 months to complete, self-paced
– Exam window: 12 months from course completion
– Tuition: $3,448.85 (including tax and textbook)

– No instructor-led sessions
